American Black Walnut Floor blanks. These are the cut-to-size boards that are now ready for the moulder. Once feed through the moulder they will come out with the tongue&groove cut into the edges and a bottom relief on the back side.

Figured Cherry floor. Dog does not come with the flooring, but that is negotiable. Flooring sized is 3.5" wide.

Figured Cherry floor just after it has been finished with two coats of Shellac.

4" Character Hickory floor. Lots of things going on with a Hickory floor. I love the color variation between the white sapwood and the dark heart wood.
|
Finished Cherry flooring. The whiter boards are sapwood of the cherry tree mixed in with the red colored heart wood. Makes for very interesting contrast.

This is an Ash floor laid diagonally with a Walnut and Cherry boarder in the center. This is a great example of how you can mix species in one floor for stunning visual effects.
Walnut and cherry are geat woods to mix with Maple or Ash for the beautifull color contrasts.
